George Strait - Pure Country
The soundtrack to Pure Country is from the motion picture which starred George Strait, and the soundtrack was completely recorded by him as well. The motion picture is fun to watch, and the soundtrack will bring back memories of "Dusty" and his adventures as he tries to find himself and his country roots.

Of the four songs that were released from the album, the lovely ballad "I Cross My Heart" and the honky tonk-styled "Heartland" both made it all the way to the top of the charts. The tears-in-your-beer weeper "When Did You Stop Loving Me" peaked at #6, and "Overnight Male" charted at #70..
A song that wasn't released, but I feel could have done well as a single was the fast paced "Where The Sidewalk Ends." The melody is catchy, and the chorus is one that makes you want to sing along.
You really can't go wrong with just about any George Strait album out there, and this is no exception. Classic "Strait" tunes to get you up on the dance floor, breaking out your best two-step moves.
